Submission of Abstracts
The theme for IFDM 2018 is: Challenges and Innovations for Workforce Health
The four streams around which workshops and plenary sessions will be developed are:
- Overcoming key health barriers to successful work outcomes
- Navigating the changing employment landscape for Disability Management professionals
- Sharing international perspectives on disability management on a policy “macro” level
- Sharing workplace perspectives on disability management at a workplace “micro” level
You are invited to contribute and share your valuable research, experiences and policies / programs by submitting abstracts on these topic areas – please refer to the detailed information provided in the pdf file attached here for downloading.
The deadline for submissions is April 2, 2018.
All abstracts must be submitted online. To access Online Abstract Submission System, please click on the following link: Online Abstract Submission
Once you have accessed the Online Abstract Submission System, you must create an account. To do so, please click on the link, “Click here to submit/edit your abstract”.
Each submission must include a title, and the abstract must include rationale, objectives, approach and findings, and be not more than 300 words. Abstracts should not contain references, tables or figures. Name of author as well as name of presenter must be included. Abstracts need to be identified if suitable as an oral presentation for a plenary or workshop, or for a poster presentation.
Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged. Authors will be advised by April 13, 2018 whether their abstracts have been accepted. Accepted abstract presenters will be requested to provide an abstract summary of 50 words, to be used to describe the presentation in the program for conference delegates.
All accepted presenters must register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee.
